I am drawn to the physicality of making a painting and the tactile engagement of materials. I am interested in the language of color and how it generates emotion. I tend to work in series and from a personal narrative that leans into themes of the natural world, beauty and strangeness.
When there is emotional honesty in a work of art I am energized.
