I am drawn to the tactile engagement of painting materials.

My work is rooted in lyrical abstraction, where gesture and color are held in tension with restraint. I am interested in marks, interruptions, and spatial shifts that emerge and recede.

I am drawn to the strangeness of a beautiful painting that doesn’t behave beautifully.
